Whether it’s a will-they-won’t-they storyline, two characters we ship so hard or waiting for that perfect first kiss, we love to see love on the small screen. TV show romances keep us watching week after week, sometimes because we can’t get enough of them, other times because we just want them to break up already. But some on-screen relationships will always be our favorites and a new study reveals which ones they are.
- CS gaming site Clash.gg analyzed Google search data to find the most popular TV couples in the U.S., based on the average number of searches over the last year.
- They looked for relationship-related terms combined with couples’ names, like “Ross and Rachel endgame.”
- And it turns out, number one on the list is a classic. Lois and Clark from “Smallville” are the TV couple Americans love most, with 31,121 average monthly searches.
- Another old school couple comes in second, Lucy and Ricky from “I Love Lucy.”
