If you love traveling, there are endless destinations to check out all over the planet, of course, some are more welcoming than others. A new study evaluates how friendly cities are to tourists, but we’re not talking about those, we’re focusing on the bottom of the list - the ones that are least tourist-friendly.
- The research from scuba and snorkeling company DIPNDIVE rates cities that attract a large number of visitors on factors that can make for a less than ideal getaway.
- These include things like tourist numbers, noise levels, air quality, restaurant prices, transportation costs, taxi rates and crime index.
- Each city was given a score from 0 to 100, and the higher the score, the more “stressful” the city is for tourists.
- So, what is the most stressful city in the world to visit? Las Vegas lands at number one.
- Sin City scores a 95 overall, thanks mainly to “extreme overcrowding” and lots and lots of noise.
- Overall, six U.S. cities make the top 10, including three in California.
