Sunday was a big day for three big presences in country music. The Country Music Hall Of Fame officially welcomed the Class of 2024: Toby Keith, John Anderson and guitarist James Burton. Keith entered in the Modern Era category, Anderson was the Veteran Era inductee, and Burton was in the Recording/Touring Musician category. Anderson had a huge run of hits in the 80s and 90s, including "Swingin'," "Straight Tequila Night" and "Seminole Wind," among many others. Burton was a studio and touring legend, playing on albums by Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, and Emmylou Harris, among countless others. He was also a member of Elvis Presley's touring band for almost a decade. And of course, there was Toby Keith, the larger than life presence that supplied much of the country soundtrack from the 90s to the 2010s. See Blake Shelton perform Toby's "Red Solo Cup" at the induction ceremony to the right.
