Reba Catches Flack For Celebrating "National Redhead Day" On Election Day

It's uncommon for Reba McEntire to get dragged, as she usually makes all the right PR moves. This week, though, the singer/TV star stepped afoul of some fans for the simple act of celebrating one of her most identifying features. On Tuesday, Reba celebrated her red-headedness with a Tweet that featured pics of her hair, and the caption "Long or short, either way I love being a redhead! #NationalRedheadDay." Harmless fun, right? Not to the people who were indignant the country legend was celebrating redheads everywhere on Tuesday, otherwise known as Election Day, while the nation cast its votes. Comments came in hot and heavy, like "Read the room Reba," "Nobody cares, it's an election day" and more. Reba paid no mind; the post is still up, has over 15-million views, and she hasn't responded to the haters.
