For many of us, spending nights at the club has been replaced by chilling out at home and we couldn’t be happier to be homebodies. While we all have our own idea of the best way to kick back and unwind, new research is revealing the formula for having the “perfect” night in.
A new survey asks 2-thousand people to share what helps them relax during a night at home:
- It finds the “perfect” night at home starts with getting back from work by 5:30 p.m. then hopping into the shower to wash away the day. But take your time in there because the ideal shower is 19 minutes.
- There are also lots of snacks involved, which you’ll want to gather and bring to the couch, where you’ll be chillaxing with your feet up by no later than 6:42 p.m.
- According to the poll, 74% of workers look forward to having “nothing to do” when they clock out.
- Two-thirds say they feel most comfortable at home, while 53% say staying in is “more peaceful” than going out.
- Nearly half (48%) admit they enjoy having the chance to completely unwind after a day on the job.
- What they don’t like? Uninvited visitors, as 55% say they hope to avoid anyone coming over during their downtime. Live-in loved ones and pets are the only exceptions.
