Ronnie Milsap is almost never name-checked when people do their "Mt. Rushmore of country music" lists, but he should get some consideration. With 35 #1 singles, the country Hall of Famer is one of the all-time greats. Perhaps a new film on his career will remind people of Milsap's legendary career. This week it was announced that a biopic is now in the works, starring Spencer Boldman. In a statement, Boldman said, “It is an honor for me to help execute Ronnie’s incredible story as well as portray him in the film. Having personally spent time with this living legend and get his blessing, is a gift. I can’t wait to make him and his fans proud." No word on when the movie comes out.
